Finally got a free moment to check out mahalo.

I don't get it. It seems to simply aggregate links from other sources.
Why would I go there vs. wikipedia or do an actual google search?

It looks like the fan-boy army is kicking the Mahalo team.
I can't image the Mahalo approach is cost effective or scailable.
