Moving up the value chain: Nokia aquires Twango

This is another good example of how the ultra-competitive mobile handset market is changing to bring additional value (or product differentiation) to the end customer.

Nokia will probably do one of the following:

1) leave twango completely free and open for anyone to use. I am not sure the value in this.
2) add additional (specific) functionality targeted to mobile handsets (drive users to data service and higher end phones)
3) do #2 but sell it as a walled-garden, white label service to service providers (differentiation for Nokia)
